I decided again to come away from painting and explore mono printing. This idea came from looking at the artist Nicole Coson. She uses mono prints to create these very ghostly portraits. I really enjoyed the textures that she created and it also gave the message I want to achieve myself. which is loss and disconnected.
I started with the just basic really looking into what likes I could make and what happens. I feel that I may of put to much ink down that's why in the first mono prints there are these textured lines. Although its a mistake I think that works well because the lines that are left are really unusual. I did also take up the negatives of the prints. I feel that the negatives are a lot stronger as I am able to work in to the ink a lot more. Such as wiping some of it away creating different texture which I really enjoyed. I really want to take this further maybe on a even larger scale like A1 but I need to get the materials for that. So this will definitely be explore more in the future (Bellow images are my outcomes)
