Year 3

I wanted to use the work to represent my trauma and how it has affected me as an individual. The work is subject to my own experience, not generalised to everyone else. I wanted to explore and process the things I have been through emotionally and creatively. The text gives an idea of what happened, but the painting disrupts that. Linking back to feelings of disassociation and confusion. The effects of what trauma has had on me. I wanted to create work that people can experience and get lost in but also understand what happened to me and how I have been affected by these traumatic experiences.
