First Collaboration

On the Enclosed Artist page that I am part of it is an artist week called Toni (instagram: https://www.instagram.com/toniiiiii.art/ ) Ther work is full of colour and very abstract. Its very much the opposite to mine. However we decided to merge our style together and see what happens.

We both look at identity and how it affects us as people. So I started the paintings with my figures and then gave them to Toni to draw all over the top. Its such an exciting thing to merge styles and create work with someone else. The outcomes of these pieces are really bold and has given the figures I paint more identity. I really like the fact that Toni also added text in them because thats something that I have been exploring. So this has given me more ideas of how I could add text. I think its great coming together with someone else and creating work because it allows new ideas to develop and new process to develop. Outcomes shown bellow:
